McCullers

McCullers is named for John McCullers, the community's first settler. He settled the area in 1800.

As an aside, I have only seen two of these 'Ruritan Community' signs. Both are in Wake County. A few miles west from here on Ten Ten Road at US 401 is a Ruritan Community sign also for McCullers.
